How we work

A process you can hold us to.

Most software projects fail on communication rather than code. This is the sequence we run on every engagement, and the commitments that go with it.

Operating principles

Four commitments, in writing.

Nothing is done until it runs

Progress is measured by what is deployed on a URL you can open, not by tickets moved to a column called Done.

Scope changes are quoted before they are built

New requirements are welcome. They get an estimate and a decision point first, so the budget conversation never happens retroactively.

You own everything

Repositories, infrastructure and documentation transfer to your organisation on completion. There is no lock-in and no dependency on us continuing to exist.

We say no when we should

If the honest answer is that you need a smaller build, a different vendor, or nothing at all, that is the answer you get during scoping.

How we work

Six stages, no surprises.

The same sequence on every engagement, whether it's a four-week MVP or a multi-year platform. You always know which stage you are in and what comes next.

Sectors we've delivered in

  • Retail & e-commerce
  • Manufacturing & distribution
  • Construction & real estate
  • Industrial supply & procurement
  • Healthcare & clinics
  • Logistics & transport
  • Education
  • Hospitality
  • Jewellery & luxury retail
  • Professional services
  1. 01

    Discover

    Workflow audit and scoping

We map how the work actually happens today — the spreadsheets, the handoffs, the software everyone works around — and identify which of those constraints software can genuinely remove.

  2. 02

    Plan

    Technical blueprint

Data model, stack selection, integration boundaries and a milestone plan with dates. You approve the architecture before anyone writes application code.

  3. 03

    Design

    Interface and interaction

High-fidelity screens for the flows that matter, reviewed against real users and real data shapes rather than lorem ipsum.

  4. 04

    Build

    Engineering in the open

Fortnightly releases to a live environment you can open. Nothing is reported as done until it runs on a URL, and scope changes are quoted before they are built.

  5. 05

    Launch

    Deployment and handover

Containerised deployment, CI/CD, DNS and SSL, monitoring and analytics. Repositories and documentation transfer to your organisation.

  6. 06

    Operate

    Support and iteration

Monitoring, security review, database tuning and the next set of changes — sized against what the system tells you, not what we guessed at the start.

How we engage

Three ways to work with us.

We don't publish rate cards, because a number without a scope tells you nothing useful. Pick the shape that matches where you are and we'll put a written proposal behind it.

Product Sprint

Validating an idea before committing a budget to it

A fixed, short engagement that turns a concept into something real enough to test with users — and a technical plan credible enough to raise against.

Fixed scope, fixed timeline, weekly demo

  • Discovery workshop and workflow audit
  • Clickable high-fidelity prototype
  • Working MVP on a live URL
  • Architecture and data model documentation
  • Deployment, SSL and analytics configured
  • Full source code handover

Not sure which fits? Describe the problem and we'll tell you honestly — including when the answer is that you don't need us.

Tell us what you're trying to build.

Send us the problem, roughly when you need it solved, and how you'd prefer to talk. We reply within one working day with either a scoping call or an honest reason why we're not the right team.
