WebFarm Technovate (“we”, “us”) is the data fiduciary / controller for personal data collected through webfarmtech.com. Our registered office is in Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu, India, and we operate an office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

This policy covers this website only. When we build or operate software for a client, the client is the controller of the data in that system and we process it under our written agreement with them.

We collect only what you give us or what your browser sends when you visit:

• Enquiry and quote forms — name, email, phone number, company and job title, country, state and city, project budget range, timeline, the message you write and any files you attach (requirement documents, images or wireframes).
• Newsletter — your email address and the date you confirmed your subscription.
• Website assistant — the questions you type into the chat widget. These are not stored in our database.
• Usage data — pages viewed, referring site, approximate location, device and browser type, collected through analytics cookies (see section 5).

We do not ask for payment details, government identifiers or other sensitive personal data through this website. Please do not include them in your messages.

• To reply to your enquiry, scope your project and send you a proposal.
• To send the newsletter you subscribed to. Every issue has an unsubscribe link.
• To answer your questions through the website assistant.
• To understand which pages are useful and improve the website.
• To protect the website against spam and abuse.

We process enquiry and newsletter data on the basis of your consent, which you give when you tick the consent box or confirm your subscription. You can withdraw consent at any time. Analytics and spam protection rely on our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website. Where we enter into a contract with you, we process the data needed to perform it.

We use the following third-party tools, which set their own cookies:

• Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager — aggregated traffic and conversion measurement.
• Microsoft Clarity — heatmaps and session recordings that show how pages are used. Form fields are masked.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the website will still work.

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website:

• Our hosting and database provider, which stores enquiry and newsletter records.
• Our email provider, which delivers enquiry alerts, confirmations and the newsletter.
• Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform), which delivers new-enquiry alerts to our team.
• Google (Gemini API), which generates the website assistant's answers.
• Google and Microsoft, for the analytics described in section 5.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it, for example in response to a valid request from a government authority.

Our team works from India and Saudi Arabia, and some of our service providers process data in other countries, including the United States. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers, such as the provider's standard contractual terms.

• Enquiries that do not become projects: up to 24 months after our last contact.
• Client records: for as long as the engagement lasts, plus the period tax and accounting law requires.
• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
• Analytics: according to each provider's retention settings, no longer than 14 months.

We protect personal data with access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and input validation, and we limit access to the people who need it to answer your enquiry. See our Security page for more.

Depending on where you live, including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law and the EU/UK GDPR, you can:

• ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• ask us to correct or complete it;
• ask us to delete it;
• withdraw your consent at any time;
• object to or restrict certain processing;
• nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf (India);
• complain to your local data protection authority.

This website is intended for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
